Fauxidermy for the Bath: Moose Showerhead

The Design Trend Fauxidermy first launched in 2008 and became white-hot in 2009.

Who didn’t fall in love with the Domestic Trophies by Rachel Denny featured on Design Milk?

In 2010 it’s still going strong with popular retailer Z Gallerie launching a collection of high gloss white resin animal busts that it describes as “twenty-first century taxidermy.”

Here are examples of others I found around the web that would make great additions to any home.

If you want to continue the Fauxidermy trend to the bathroom you might worry about the extra moisture affecting your animal bust. This next item is meant to get wet. How about a Moose Head as the focal point of your shower?  This incredible piece is part of the Mildue Majestic Bath Collection.  It was designed by Samuele Mazza and Alessandro La Spada.
